Old Adverts in Burton Bradstock
In 1973, John Eastwood, a villager himself, issued a book "The Burton Bradstock Book" in 1973. It describes life in the village at that time.
Below are copies of the local advertisements in this book which give an interesting insight into life in the village in the 1970s.
It is interesting to note just how many businesses there were, how diverse & how few survive. In addition, it is worth noting the old phone numbers!
